About the Painting:
This large original oil has lots of paint and texture, which is the only way I like to paint flowers. I'm only content when the petals pop right off the canvas and make you want to reach out and touch the paint. I love the ocher colors and rich reds and golds, especially this time off year, with all the fall colors around me. Hope this one inspires and brings a smile!
