Well it's just about April, I think that means Spring right?

Hard to tell when it's still so chilly here on the east coast.

I hope it warms up soon, I'm ready for the buzz of the bees,

and the scent of the Cherry Blossoms :)

Spring Story

It's mid February and almost Valentine's day so I'm thinking Spring and Pink/Red and Rose.

Our crazy weather has left many a bloom confused. One of my fruit trees

started blooming last week when it was warm and now it's dropping in temp....mmmmm

Love Spring Blooms though.

Hope it inspires warmer days!

New winter scenes just dry!

I started these a few weeks ago, as soon as the temp started to dip

but it's been so cold that they have taken awhile to dry.

All the soft grey/blue colors of the snow and sky

really help the brilliant gold colors

of the lights glow!

I love to feel the warmth of sunshine on a cold winter’s day.  I grew up in Lake Tahoe and as much as I looked forward to the snow of winter, I remember looking forward to sunbathing at the the lodge after a ski run, and closing my eyes, feeling the warm sun on my face. The blinding snow glistening in the sun makes me see bright colors dancing off the ground.

I hope 2013 brings fresh inspirations and joy! Enjoy the snow before it begins to melt and don't forget to reflect and learn from the year's trials and tribulations.
